Wandered over to the Lincoln Park Zoo randomly a few days before Christmas to get into the Christmas Mood. Definitely a great walk as I wandered there all the way from Lake View by foot.

I could spend hours typing and talking up the adventure that was 2011. It started at an all time low, and has redeemed itself dramatically. After much hesitation, I finally decided to go through my phone’s pictures (the ones that never get tweeted) and just batch upload them to flickr instead of talking about the whole year and its rollercoaster of a ride.

So without explanation of any of these images (and a lot of them won’t make sense without context), here they are starting from January to as of Today.

7 years ago, I completed about 7 years worth of German language in Junior High and Highschool. I constantly asked myself “Why didn’t you take spanish, you would have actually had a use for it in the states unlike German?” But alas, over the past week, I finally got the chance to get to Germany for the first time. A U.S. Based client i was working with had over sea operations which were based in, you guessed it, Germany, and required a site visit. Woot! So I took a long weekend to see a bit of the Southern parts of Deutschland.

Before heading to Germany for a client, I had to make a quick stop the week before in Philly and DC area for their other 2 locations. While Philly was just a day trip, I did have a lot of extra time in both Philly and DC to wander a bit and get a few photos.

LART…er…Brian….and Elizabeth finally got married yesterday and I was lucky enough to be selected to attend their celebration.
